A few quotable rhymes are in the mix, but serious lyricism clearly isn't the main event here, taking a backseat to the club-ready production and dream-team posse cuts. There are enough synth beats and Auto-Tune effects to jumpstart an 18-and-under dance club. A supergroup that brings together YMCMB members including Lil Wayne, Nicki Manaj, Baby the Birdman, Mack Maine, and Limp Bizkit (?!)-as well as likeminded chart-toppers Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, and Game, among others-it's basically a sonic celebration of money, money, and more money. Depending on your age and appreciation of hip-hop, Rich Gang is either a jaw-droppingly awesome compilation featuring all of your favorite rappers or a head-scratchingly wack collection of predictable and clichéd garbage.
